Job Details:

Position: Sales Specialist – China

Working days – Monday – Friday

Location – China (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new agency business opportunities for exhibitions, trade shows.
  • Qualify leads through various channels, including outbound calls, emails.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct regular follow-up to ensure ongoing client engagement.
  • Develop and present detailed proposals for exhibition space, booth design, sponsorships, and other exhibition-related services.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Ensure all client requirements are communicated to the relevant internal teams for smooth execution of events.
  • Build, manage, and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct in-depth market research on the exhibition industry in China, understanding client trends, industry standards, and competitor offerings.

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in trade shows, exhibits, and events.
  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of outbound and inbound sales experience with a successful quota-carrying track record.
  • Proficiency in lead generation, prospect management, and sales systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiastic learner with superior creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a consistent history of above-average performance evaluations.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment marked by constant change and tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player with innovative ideas and the capacity to work collaboratively or autonomously.
  • Evidence of continuous growth through education, skills training, and professional development.
